House at Lake Maggiore - Refurbishment

 - Jakob Schoof

Old stone houses are huddled closely together in Brissago Piodina, the last town on Swiss soil on the western shore of Lake Maggiore before crossing the border to Italy. Others look back at a chequered history of conversion, addition and alteration.
